Properties and characteristics of tungsten carbide

1.High hardness (86～93HRA, equivalent to 69～81HRC);

2.Good thermal hardness (up to 900～1000℃, keeping 60HRC);

3.Good wear resistance.

4.Cemented carbide tools have 4 to 7 times higher cutting speed and 5 to 80 times higher tool life than HSS. Manufacturing moulds, gauges, life than alloy tool steel 20 to 150 times higher .

5.Can cut about 50HRC hard materials.
