Tungsten Carbide Hardfacing
Tungsten carbide hardfacing is a surface enhancement process with tungsten carbide tiles or carbide grit used to improve the wear resistance and durability of industrial components. It involves applying a layer of tungsten carbide to the surface of a part, typically through welding or thermal spraying techniques. Tungsten carbide is an extremely hard material (second only to diamond) and is highly resistant to abrasion, erosion, and impact, making it ideal for protecting components exposed to harsh operating conditions.
