General cemented carbide ball due to ferromagnetism, in the magnetic powder forming process, easy to stick powder, resulting in hair pulling, seriously affecting the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of magnetic blanks, and thus should not be used for magnetic powder mould.
Due to the poor wear resistance of non-magnetic steel balls, the service life of moulds made of them is generally only a few tens of thousands of times. Non-magnetic tungsten carbide balls make it double, ten times or even hundreds of times the service life.
