The cemented carbide HPGR stud is mainly used on the roller of the roller press. Compared with the traditional surfacing roller surface, it significantly improves the wear resistance of the roller surface and enhances the service life of the roller press. The carbide studs are mainly used in the roller press in the rock crushing industry.

Material and characteristics of cemented carbide stud

It has high hardness, high strength and good impact resistance, which can greatly improve the service life and working efficiency of the roller press. By comparison, the service life of cemented carbide stud is more than 10 times longer than that of the original surfacing material.

The studs are sintered at high temperatures from a tungsten-cobalt carbide with a hardness higher than HRC 67. The most important feature of the ZUI on the surface of the stud roller is the self-generated liner. During roller rotation, the gaps between studs and studs are filled with fine particles in the material, thus forming a material liner that protects the base material of the roller sleeve. In practice, it should be ensured that the material has a certain degree of humidity, which is more conducive to the formation of the material liner.

The advantages of cemented carbide stud are its good wear resistance, long one-time service life and less daily maintenance work on the roll surface. Save worry and trouble, reduce enterprise costs.
